Four original covers with eclectism beat, blue eyed soul and touch of RnB in this first e.p. of these five beatsters from Antwerp. Groovy baby and welcome to Shakeland! An exclusive blend of screaming soul and farfisa orgasm, with hot percussions by this monster Greek combo. Both sides have amazing sounds, solid bass, cut and crude guitar riffs. Belle Vue Vol. V

Belle Vue press Vol. IV (Dedicated To The Sixties Cinema)

This issue is dedicated to the sixties cinema. You can read articles about the early years of “Curtis Mayfield”, the creepy story of “Peter Sellers” as well as the history of “Music Libraries” and of course “Finos Film”, our favorite Greek cinema company. There is also an article about Vespa In Cinema, a few words about the first Jamaican film “The Harder They Come”, plus some reviews of our favorites soundtracks.

Like The Beatles' “Hard Days Night” film, that was the first attempt to make this famous Greek band internationally known.
The first part of the film was directed by young Theo Angelopoulos (in his first cinema steps) and was completed by Costas Lychnaras. Blue eyed demonstrated!

Belle Vue press Vol. II

The second issue of Belle Vue press undertaken, once more, about sixties culture, music, objects and some other things from that part of time. In vol.2 you can read about one of the kind sixties, Detroit, soul band “Martha & The Vandellas”, a report to the maker of jazz-rock, the drummer, “Ginger Baker” and about the life and act of the psychedelic-beatnik writer “Henry Miller”. In this issue there are references of “Mary Quant”, the absolutely sixties designer, “Trojan” records and one of the best r'n'b-jazzy band, from Liverpool (U.K.), “The Remo Four”. So, there are more and some vinyl records review which affected a miscellanies young movement… again.

Belle Vue press Vol. I (Dedicated To The Mod Culture)


The vol.I issue of "BELLE VUE press" contains about sixties music, fetichs & objects, emphasizing in mod,ska, beat and soul waves.

Belle Vue Weekender 4 @ Jam club - Platamonas/Pieria, GR (13, 14 & 15 / 06)

Welcome to the 4th edition of Belle Vue weekender.
This is Belle Vue Situation’s main event dedicated to the mod/60s culture and it will take place at Jam club in Platamonas, a famous Greek resort on 13th, 14th and 15th of June 2008 .
In this year’s agenda two of the most famous bands in the 60’s revival era are included."The Gonks" from Belgium on Friday night and "The Five Aces" from Scotland on Sunday night.
Furthermore, one of this year’s highlights would be the reunion of Greek monsters ’The Cardinals’ -now under the name "The Gold Spiders"- coming out with two fresh members.
The festivities start on Friday 13th of June, with the decks spinning, all day ’n all night, with top Euro DJs like Richard Karstrom (Sweden), Freakcarlos (Italy), Henry (Italy), Roel Blommaert (Belgium), Greek collector Michael Nezis (Potfleur rec), Eko-Tiger DJ team from Volos, CaptainK (The Frantic V) and of course the Belle Vue’s team DJs, presenting your favorite top sounds from the sixties underground from hard to find 45’s, for your all night long dancing pleasure!
During the festival, there will also be an Art Exhibition with Miss Geanie, a Scooter Cruise, a Market, loads of Go Go dancing by F* Art and a BBQ at the villa combined with the sounds of a surprise band!
The wildest global free festival that you must not miss, ’cause it’ll make your dreams come true!
